Lexicon Genetics is a biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering and developing breakthrough treatments for human disease. Lexicon is systematically discovering the physiological and behavioral functions of genes to identify potential points of therapeutic intervention, or drug targets. Summary

The person filling this position will manage the docketing for a large U.S. and foreign patent prosecution docket, and will provide general patent prosecution support. Responsibilities will include: docketing incoming mail and patent filings using patent docketing software; maintaining mail logs; creating and assembling patent filing paperwork; scanning and archiving scientific notebooks; and providing general administrative support.

Qualifications

" B.A. or B.S. preferred
" Minimum of five (5) years working experience, with at least two years docketing and/or general IP experience
" Ability and desire to work in a team-oriented environment
" Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
